Ethel died June 9, 1923 in Kiama, New South Wales, Australia, at 29 years of age. He married Alice Cady in Kiama, New South Wales, Australia, June 18, 1924. Alice was born in Michen, Surrey, England February 20, 1904. Alice was the daughter of Matthew George Layton and Lillian May Coward. Alice died October 19, 1987 in Warilla, New South Wales, Australia, at 83 years of age.
