1. Charles Christian¹ Patterson was born February 16, 1864. Charles died July 3, 1945 at 81 years of age.

He married Edith Jane Gerrett December 20, 1894. Edith was born November 3, 1875. Edith was the daughter of James William Gerrett and Mary Warner Smith. Edith died March 8, 1967 at 91 years of age.

Charles Christian Patterson and Edith Jane Gerrett had the following children:

2 i. Frank Lindsay² Paterson was born June 4, 1897. Frank died December 6, 1897 at less than one year of age.

+ 3 ii. Norman Leslie Paterson was born February 11, 1899.

4 iii. Horace Charles Paterson was born December 9, 1903. Horace died January 8, 1904 at less than one year of age.

5 iv. Lilian Edith Paterson was born January 31, 1905. Lilian died September 15, 1988 at 83 years of age. She married Henry William Stephens January 14, 1933. Henry was born November 11, 1904. (See Henry William Stephens for the continuation of this line.)

6 v. Edna Jean Paterson was born January 7, 1918. She married Jack Stewart December 21, 1940. Jack was born March 16, 1918. (See Jack Stewart for the continuation of this line.)
