He married Hazel Lorraine Perry about 1946. Hazel was born in Broken Hill, New South Wales, Australia September 27, 1916. Hazel is the daughter of Lawrence Perry and Rachel Elsie Richards.

William Bayliss and Hazel Lorraine Perry had the following children:

2 i. Paula Lorraine² Bayliss was born in England February 22, 1946.

3 ii. Krista Lorraine Bayliss was born in Merewether, New South Wales, Australia December 25, 1956.
