36. William Alfred⁵ Smith (William⁴, William John³, John², William¹) was born in Bolong, Shoalhaven, New South Wales, Australia May 5, 1856. William died May 4, 1924 in Bega, Nsw, Aust, at 67 years of age. His body was interred May 6, 1924 in Ce, Bega, New South Wales, Australia.

He married Elizabeth Farrell in Bombala, Nsw, New South Wales, Australia, about 1880. Elizabeth was born in "spring Flat", Nimmitabel, New South Wales, Australia January 21, 1859. Elizabeth was the daughter of Michael Farrell and Mary Bell. Elizabeth died in Bega, Nsw, New South Wales, Australia. Lived at Rocky Flats near Bombala New South Wales. Death 5 may 1925 notes he was born in Bulli. Need to check but this is highly probable since his mothers family was at Fairey Meadow nearby. Noted that a William Smith was still farming at Numba in 1875.

48 i. Arthur William John_barker⁶ Smith was born in Rocky Hall, Nsw, Aust November 12, 1879. Arthur died January 25, 1898 in Rocky Hall, Nsw, Aust, at 18 years of age.

50 iii. Mary Bell Smith was born in Bucky Springs, Nsw, Aust March 8, 1885. Mary died 1924 in Bega, Nsw, Aust, at 39 years of age. She married Edward Hazelgrove in Bega, New South Wales, Australia, about 1905. (See Edward Hazelgrove for the continuation of this line.)

+ 51 iv. Herbert Andrew Buchanan Smith was born April 29, 1887.

52 v. David Michael O'Halloran Smith was born in Burragate, Nsw, Aust March 8, 1889. David died in Queensland, Australia.

54 vii. Elizabeth Margaret Ellison Smith was born in Rocky Hall, Nsw, Aust February 12, 1893. Elizabeth died September 14, 1952 in Bega, Nsw, Aust, at 59 years of age. She married twice. 55 viii. Silas George Bliss Smith was born in Rocky Hall, Nsw, Aust July 7, 1894.

56 ix. Vincent Lawrence Smith was born in Rocky Hall, Nsw, Aust August 6, 1896.

57 x. Charles Smith was born in Rocky Hall, Nsw, Aust December 16, 1897. Charles died December 6, 1914 in Blairland, Lochiel, New South Wales, Australia, at 16 years of age.

58 xi. Adam Oliver Smith was born in Rocky Hall, Nsw, Aust November 2, 1899.

59 xii. Annie Smith was born in Pambula, Nsw, Aust November 22, 1903. Annie died November 27, 1903 in Pambula, Nsw, Aust, at less than one year of age.

60 xiii. Evis Smith was born in Nsw, Aust August 9, 1909. Evis died August 12, 1909 in Nsw, Aust, at less than one year of age.
