She married Thomas Alexander Oakes in Madras, India, 1826. Thomas was born 1787. Thomas was the son of Thomas Oakes and Elizabeth Ann Cosby. Thomas died September 12, 1840 at 53 years of age. She married George Alexander Croft in Stillington, Yorkshire, England, 1849.
