14. Henry Robert4 Oakes (Thomas3, Matthew2, Matthew1) was born in Fort St George, Madras, India October 19, 1788. Henry died September 9, 1842 in Kempsey, New South Wales, Australia, at 53 years of age. His body was interred in Unknown, Unknown.
He married twice. He married Eliza Maxtone in Madras, India, January 1, 1816. Father was the Postmaster General at Madras.
He married Harriet Macdonald in Madras, India, February 16, 1820. Harriet was born in Madras, India September 5, 1799. Harriet was the daughter of Ewen Macdonald Capt and Janet Bruce. Harriet died November 27, 1847 in Hobart, Tasmania, Australia, at 48 years of age. Madras Civil Service

Helen Caroline Oakes was born February 1, 1823. Helen died January 14, 1892 at 68 years of age. She married William James Snodgrass September 14, 1871. William was born in Kempsey, New South Wales,
Australia September 12, 1848. William was the son of W.j. Snodgrass. (See William James Snodgrass

Montague Cosby Oakes was born December 11, 1826. Montague died November 12, 1895 at 68 years of age. He married Maria Young September 30, 1858. Maria was born in Moor Court, Hants, England May 28, 1836.
Maria was the daughter of James Young. of Oakrest Portarburton, Victoria.
