Her body was interred January 26, 1721 in Churchyard, Eccles, Berwick, Scotland. William Johnston was a tenant farmer at Ednam Mains near Kelso. The property was a part of the Duke of Roxburgh's Estates. The churcyard at Eccles 4 mile NE of Kelso has a flat topped stone that denotes the deaths of the Johnston family.
