He married twice. He married Mary Euphonia Young. Mary was born in Grove Creek, Pleasant Grove, Utah County, Usa September 13, 1850. Mary was the daughter of Henry Icabod Young and Temperance Jolly. Mary died in Chico, California, Usa. Her body was interred in Chico, California, Usa. 1900 Census notes a Mary Gorman having 7 children 6 living. None living at home at home in 1900. Born CA both parents Ohio. As per F. Garner. Died Chico. Father second cousin to Bringham Young.

He married Katherine Sullivan in Dayton, Lyon County, Nevada, Usa, 1872. Katherine was born in Maine, Usa July 1855. Katherine died October 1880 in Eureka, Nevada, Usa, at 25 years of age. Her body was interred August 18, 1953 in Our Lady Of Sorr, Reno, Nevada, Usa. See US Census Nevada page 174 Eureka County. 1880 Mother Ireland father Ireland Born Maine.1855. Died in childbirth. Embalmed in Arsenic. Buried with a glass covered coffin in Eureka Nevada. Daughter moved body to Reno about 1953. Gertrude Brown. Buried Our Lady of Sorrows Cemetery August 18th 1953 D-24 Certificate signed by R.J. Hall 8/16/53 O'Brien Mortury Reno Located in the US Census Nevada 1870, 1880 Constable Eureka Nevada Located in the 1900 Census at Randsburg Township in Kern County California. Profession Hay and Grain Dealer. Unable to locate him in the 1910 Census for California. Wife died 1878. Buried in Glass Coffin at Eureka Nevada. Covered in black shroud. Coffin was placed in a small wooden hut at graveyard insulated with coal. Moved to Reno in 1953 ny g/daughter. Gertrude Brown. Due to the use of arsenic the body was in excellent condition. Local area known as Gorman Springs. F. Gorman was a legislator in Nevada. Seventh assembly 1895/97 Eureka Co. 12 iii. Margaret Elizabeth "Maggie" Gorman was born in Eureka, Eureka County, Nevada, Usa August 31, 1876. Noted to be in California in 1953.

13 iv. Cecile Gertrude Sullivan Gorman was born in Eureka, Eureka County, Nevada, Usa July 23, 1878. Cecile died September 1973 in Reno, Nevada, Usa, at 95 years of age.
