8. John⁵ Douglas Sir (James⁴, William³, Andrew², Archibald¹) was born in Scotland. John died about 1346/1350 in Scotland.

He married Agnes Munfode. Said to have defended the Island of Lochleven against the English. Killed by Sir David Barclay.

John Douglas Sir and Agnes Munfode had the following children:

+ 12 i. James⁶ Douglas Sir.

13 ii. William Douglass Sir.

14 iii. John Douglas Sir. John died before May 26, 1366.

+ 15 iv. Henry Douglas Sir.

16 v. Thomas Douglas. Thomas died before June 1, 1406.

17 vi. Nicholas Douglas.

18 vii. Ellen Douglas.

19 viii. Margaret Douglas.

20 ix. Elizabeth Douglas.
