3. Andrew2 Douglas Sir (Archibald1) was born in Hermiston, Midlothian, Scotland about 1200. Andrew died about 1277.
He married an unknown person in Scotland. Is claimed an ancestor of the Earls of Morton. Received the lands of Hermiston prior to 1226. Witness in a charter 1248 to the monks of Dunferline. Present at the marriage contract of Hugh Douglas with Marjorie Abernethy in 1259. {Douglas book iii. 2}
